At the heart of Nemea, Zacharias Winery is a family-run estate with deep roots, producing wine since 1962 and counted among the region’s oldest producers. Led by winemaker Elias Zacharias since 1974, it balances tradition with a quietly modern approach, crafting wines that express place, grape, and time with clarity.

The Lexis Gris Moschofilero Sur Lie is a beautifully aromatic rosé that captures the vibrant character of Moschofilero with added depth from nine months on lees. Intensely floral and expressive, it opens with notes of rose petal and blossom, layered with citrus, pomegranate, and a delicate hint of Turkish delight, all lifted by a subtle touch of brioche. Fresh acidity keeps it lively and precise, while the lees ageing brings a gentle creaminess to the palate, creating a refined and balanced finish.

Consistently recognised on the international stage, it has earned Gold Medals at AWC Vienna and Mundus Vini, along with standout honours as Best of the Show at the Orlando WSWA Wine Competition.

At the heart of Nemea, Zacharias Winery is a family-run estate with deep roots, first producing wine in 1962 and now one of the region’s oldest wineries. Since 1974, it has been led by winemaker Elias Zacharias, whose steady hand has shaped its evolution while staying true to its origins. The philosophy is simple: let place, grape, and time speak clearly in every bottle.

Their vineyards stretch across the Nemea PDO, at carefully chosen altitudes which bring freshness, structure and complexity. Limestone-rich soils and a balanced microclimate lend precision and clarity, giving the wines a strong sense of place.

In the vineyard, work is done by hand with a focus on sustainability and natural balance. In the cellar, the approach is thoughtful and restrained - preserving varietal character and terroir, with oak used sparingly to add texture and depth without ever overshadowing the wine.
