Milia Riza is Greece’s only estate devoted entirely to high-quality sparkling wine - a bold vision brought to life by Nancy Mazou and Stefano Stante in the heart of Nemea, home of Agiorgitiko.

The Azzardà Rosè captures that ambition beautifully. Pale rose-gold in the glass with a fine, persistent mousse, it opens with vibrant notes of peach, raspberry, and sour cherry, layered with a gentle touch of brioche. The texture is creamy yet precise, balancing freshness with depth.

Hand-harvested Agiorgitiko undergoes a short cold maceration to draw out its delicate colour, followed by careful élevage in stainless steel with regular bâtonnage. A full 24 months on lees in bottle brings complexity and finesse, resulting in a sparkling wine that feels both refined and quietly distinctive.

Milia Riza is Greece’s only producer dedicated exclusively to high-quality sparkling wine. Founded by Nancy Mazou and Stefano Stante, the estate focuses on crafting precise, internationally styled wines rooted in Nemea’s organic vineyards. Using the traditional method and extended lees ageing, they produce sparkling wines with depth, finesse, and structure, working mainly with Agiorgitiko, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir while also exploring lesser-known Greek varieties.

Nancy Mazou, raised in Nemea, trained in oenology and gained experience across France and Italy, shaping her focus on precision. Stefano Stante, with a background in agronomy and winemaking experience in Portugal and Italy, co-founded the estate with her.

In Nemea - a region known for Agiorgitiko and diverse vineyard altitudes - Milia Riza is reimagining its potential for sparkling wine, revealing a fresh, elegant expression of both the grape and the place.
